Senior Technical Support Specialist (Remote)

Description

Enartia is looking for a Senior Technical Support Representative. The best candidate should be passionate, highly motivated, familiar/expert with web hosting, and ambitious about a career in technical support. This person will join the Customer Service Team, in-house or remotely, in order to enhance the quality of support offered to Enartia’s customers.

Responsibilities

  • Provide technical support for Hosting, Dedicated and VPS clients
  • Partial infrastructure monitor and issue reporting to the infrastructure team
  • Hosting-related duties
  • Provide technical mentor junior staff
  • Enrich and improve our technical knowledge base according to customer requests
  • Frequently attend educational seminars / workshops in order to improve knowledge and performance level

Requirements

  • Expertise with Linux operating system environments
  • Expertise with web and DB servers, such as Apache and MySQL
  • Expertise with mail services, such as postfix, dovecot, smtp, imap, pop3, sieve.
  • Experience with DNS services, such as Bind , powerdns
  • Experience with Plesk or Cpanel
  • Experience with shell (bash) scripts
  • Familiarity with CMS such as WordPress, Joomla is a plus
  • Familiarity with nodejs, Ruby on Rails is a plus
  • Familiarity with monitoring systems such as nagios, prometheus is a plus
  • Expert troubleshooting skills and strong attention to detail
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills in English and Greek
  • Previous experience required
  • Any kind of linux certification is preferred
